From Welfare to Nearly $1 Million: My Interview with Pat Flynn for the Smart Passive Income Podcast
I’m gonna start this post by saying Pat Flynn is the guy that made me believe that it is possible to make more than enough money in a way that didn’t require me to leave the house and spend long periods of time away from my family.
Pat is a family guy in his thirties and, like me, he was hit hard by the economic downturn in 2008. As a trainee architect, he was laid off from his job just a week before his wedding.
His financial future was saved thanks to a little website he’d built to help prepare himself for his architecture exams. He found a way to monetize it and has never looked back!
Fast forward a few years and Pat is now making serious bank. He even publishes his monthly income reports and shares, down to the cent, just how much he makes and where that cash comes from.
I tried to keep the fangirl moments in this episode to a minimum but hey, when you’re being interviewed by the guy that inspired you to start your business in the first place… you get the picture.
In this interview with Pat, I share:
- How I grew a thriving online business from scratch.
- My best tips for hosting awesome webinars, building authority online, and harnessing the power of Facebook ads.
- How to build a business while staying true to yourself.
This is one of my favorite interviews so I’m excited to pull it out of the archive and share it with you!
